What is it
Clandestino is a restaurant focused on bringing the best of Mexican cuisine but with a touch of Minho gastronomy, always accompanied by a vast menu of the best cocktails. Clandestino's mission is to help their guests create great memories.

How i did it
Creating Clandestino's visual world started with getting to know the people behind it. Understanding the owners, their story, and the atmosphere they wanted to create was essential to translating their vision into a brand. At its core, Clandestino is about bringing people together through a vibrant blend of cultures, flavours, and shared memories.
To express that spirit, I fused traditional Mexican skull iconography with the ornamental motifs of Minho's folklore, creating a playful visual language full of bold colours, rich details, and personality.
Designing the menu became one of my favourite parts of the project. Working closely with the owner, we transformed it into an illustrated journey through the restaurant's sweet and spicy flavours. Each illustration celebrates some of the signature dishes, inviting customers to discover not only what to order, but also the stories and character behind the food.
